2024 marks Florham Park's 125th birthday!  To commemorate this special milestone, we're planning special events throughout the Borough including  the BIGGEST July 4th celebration we've ever hosted! See below for more information.

UPCOMING BOROUGH EVENTS FOR OUR 125th

February 17, 2024 - March 20, 2024- Children's Art Competition

Students in grades K-8 are invited to submit a drawing based on the theme “125 Years of Florham Park: Our Past, Present and Future.” Students will receive a flyer at school with further information. Entries will be submitted to homeroom teachers and will be displayed throughout the year.  Download Art Flyer here and Registration Form here.

February 17, 2024 - June 30, 2024 - Photo Contest

All residents, past & present, are invited to submit their favorite photos of the borough in two categories: Historic: The First 100 Years (1899-1999) and Contemporary (2000 - current). Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 photos in each category as selected by the judges.

March 20, 2024 - Happy Birthday Florham Park

Join us at the Holy Family School Gym from 6 PM to 8 PM for a family-friendly birthday celebration. Light refreshments will be served.

 

April 27, 2024 - Hancock Cemetery Tour

Interested in learning more about the history of Florham Park through our predecessors in Hancock Cemetery? Join us for a tour of the Cemetery on April 27, 2024 at 1pm with Dr. Patrick Dolan, Vice-Chair of the Historic Preservation Commission.  Register here.

June - Community Float Building
Come together with your neighbors to build floats for the July 4th parade.

Neighborhoods are invited to nominate a float captain to coordinate float building operations.  The first 10 neighborhoods that commit to build a float, are elibible for a
$ 500 reimbursement for supplies.  Come to the March 20th BDAY party to sign up!

September 15 ~ Ice Cream Social and Grand Re-opening of the Little Red Schoolhouse
Join the Historic Preservation Commission and the Quasquicentenntial Committee to celebrate the re-opening of Florham Park’s beloved historic landmark.


 

 

October 5 ~ Quasquicentennial Gala- Mansion at Farleigh Dickinson University
